Shipping

For a limited time only - We offer Free Shipping within the U.S. and all other countries in the world.

General Return Policy 

Our return policy is simple. Within 10 calendar days of the receipt of your order, you may return for a 100% refund (excluding our outbound shipping costs) , on any lighting fixture or related product that has not been used, is in its original box, and is in resalable condition. The fixture cannot have been installed or modified in any way. The fixture must be enclosed in the original box with sufficient packaging material and have a return merchandise authorization number (rma#), issued by Lighting55.com, on the returned box. Lighting55.com must receive the return product within 10 days of the receipt of your order, where it will be subject to evaluation by our staff. We cannot issue any refund if the return is received after 10 days of original receipt at your location. To initiate the return process, call a customer service rep @ 1 (877) 757 7936 , or send an e-mail to info@lighting55.com , clearly stating your situation and specifying the product(s) you would like to return. There might be a restocking fee charged by the manufacturer - the client if fully responsible for that.

The following types of items and orders do not qualify for returns or refund

The following types of items and orders do not qualify for returns or refund: Products returned without a return merchandise authorization number (rma#), issued by Lighting55.com; light bulbs; products that are custom made (i.e. track lighting, custom designed or fit for your order unless they have a defect). For all specialty imported designer products, there is up to a 40% restocking fee, plus all shipping & handling costs (contact a customer service rep for details for which products this rule applies to). Special purchases, such as: inventory sale items, special discounted products and products where a discount code has been applied, custom quotes, discounted items, items not purchased from Lighting55.com; and expedited shipping and charges for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and internationally orders (outside the U.S.) are all non-refundable. We cannot accept returns or cancelations of large orders of the same product. (We define large orders as 3 or more of the same product) If you are ordering a large quantity of an item, we encourage you to order a sample first to make sure its what you need.  

When returning any item, please be sure to pack the product properly. We recommend that you purchase shipping insurance. We cannot provide a refund for any product received in our warehouse in damaged condition. In such a case, you must file a claim with the shipping company and advise us as what to do with the damaged product. We will hold your product for 30 days, after which the product will be destroyed.

Damaged Goods

Any product that is received damaged or with a missing part must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Lighting55 cannot accept responsibility for any damages or missing parts not reported within this timeframe. We also do not accept responsibility for any broken parts that are being reported after the light fixture has been installed. All damages must be reported prior to installation. Please hold on to all packaging materials since and wait until an inspection has been done by the shipper. If you have disposed the packing of the shipment that arrived damaged - we will not be able to provide any replacement. Please inspect all boxes for damages and tell the driver to make remarks on the delivery note if such a damage is visible - also report any red color on shock indicators that are outside of the box. Also open the box to check its contents before you sign.

In case of any damages - please refuse the package - when you sign for the package - you are confirming that you received the shipment in good condition. We are unable to fill damage claims after you signed for the package. Lighting55 does not accept responsibility for any damages that are discovered after you signed for the box received in good condition.

Products received with broken glass or dented shades are not considered defective. In such a case, we will provide replacement glass or shade at no additional charge. In this case a replacement part will be provided to you. If you do not wish to receive a replacement - we consider this as a return and restocking fees may appply by the manufacturers.

Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Paypal and Google Checkout, please check through our online store. Orders will be billed in full at time of order. Please contact us if you wish to pay offline or place your order over the phone.

Listings and ratings

Please contact us prior to placing your order if you need any of your fixtures to be UL listed. Not all of our lights are UL rated but have listing types such as ETL, CE etc - Please contact customer service before placing your order.

Customs + Brokerage fees

We are not responsible for any customs duties or brokerage fees.

Products

Some products taht are made in the E.U. may come with the european plug. In that case an Australian adapter will be provided free of charge. 

Cancelled Orders

You may cancel an order that has not been shipped within 24 hours after the order is placed unless it is a special order or customized product. We preserve the right to deduct a cancellation fee of a minimum of 10% for any orders canceled after 24 hours. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled. We preserve the right to refuse any refunds if a shipment is being refused at delivery.  Any cancellation fees charged by the manufacturer will be the responsibility of the client and can be up to 50% of the order amount.

All cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by our returns department. All 220V products and items over $10.000 will be special ordered for you and cannot be canceled once the order is placed. Certain manufacturers do not accept cancellations once an order is placed. These manufacturers are as follows: Solziluce, Vetrilamp, Verpan, Vistosi and Vesoi.

Refused shipments

The customer is responsible for the return shipment cost  of packages that are being refused at delivery. 

Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax will be added to your order for shipments to residents in the State of Florida

Promotions

When using coupon codes, please be advised that we only accept one code per order. Coupons can only be applied to items that are not part of an ongoing promotion.

Security and Privacy

Lighting55 takes strong precautions to protect your information both online and offline.  We use a variety of technical solutions to make shopping safe at our web site.  Your information is encrypted and is protected by industry-standard Secure socket Layer (SSL) software.  While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect your information offline.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Lighting55 respects your privacy. We assure you that we will maintain and use all information responsibly. All the information that you provide us with, such as your sign in information, is maintained in private files on our secure Web server and our internal system.

We will not sell or release your email address or any other information to any other parties. We believe in providing a safe and secure shopping experience for all our customers.

Pricing Errors

Due to human error, our site may list an occasional incorrect price. While we make every effort to ensure these mistakes do not happen, Lighting55 cannot honor incorrect prices. In the event an error is found, we will inform the customer before the order is placed. At that time the customer will have the option to place the order with the correct pricing, or to cancel their order completely.

 Lighting55.com makes every effort to provide reliable information; however, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information appearing on the website. The website may contain errors and omissions relating to product description, pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct or update errors or omissions and to change information at our discretion without prior notice. We also reserve the right to cancel an order for a product in the event of an error or omission in the description of such product, including incorrect pricing information, whether due to a typographical error, an error in information received from our suppliers, or otherwise.

Fees
There might be a restocking or cancellation fee which is not in our hand to determine. Some fees are being impoed by the manufacturer and it is out of our control to determine the amount of these fees. If you would like to know the fee in the event of a return of a cancellation - please call us or email our support and we will be happy to indicate those fees to you after we checked with the manufacturer.

Shipment

Your order will be delivered through our warehouse in Florida except lighting fixtures we do not have in stock. These will be delivered through our European facility or from the U.S. distributor. All 220V items will be shipped from our warehouse in Germany. Please contact our customer service for in stock items.

 Plugs

Sometimes its nesessary to send light fixtures with an E.U. Plug to countries outside of the European Union. In such cases an adaper will be provided free of charge.
