Valerio Sommella

Valerio Sommella was born in 1980 in Cortona. He studied industrial design at Milan Polytechnic and graduated in 2004, and went on to work with Stefano Giovannoni. In 2007, moved to Amsterdam where he collaborated with Marcel Wanders. He returned to Italy in 2009 where he continues to live and work, designing for international companies with product ranges from furnishings to consumer electronics. He also teaches at the Marangoni Institute.
