Oscar Tusquets Blanca
Oscar Tusquets Blanca was born in Barcelona in 1941. He studied architecture at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Barcelona. In 1972 he collaborated with fellow designers Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici, Lluís Clotet and Mireia Riera to design furniture and objects, which led to him being awarded the Spanish Design Award and had his work exhibited in many major museums including the MoMA in New York and the Centre George Pompidou in Paris. He was awarded a Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts among other prestigious awards.
