Iikka Suppanen

Iikka Suppanen was born in Finland in 1968. He studied both architecture and interior architecture and furniture design. He founded his own studio "Studio Suppanen" in 1995 and has worked with many international companies such as Artek, Axis, Cappellini, Ferlea, Leucos, Lucente, Nokia, Zanotta, Marimekko and Saab Automobiles. In 1997 he was involved with forming the Snowcrash design cooperative, which then went on to win the Young Designer of the Year Award in Germany. He has continued to receive various honours and awards and has work on permanent display in many museum collections.
