Designer Andreas Ostwald was born in Germany in 1964. After studying Industrial design in Kiel and an apprenticeship in ceramic modelling, he opened the Ostwalddesign studio. He lectured in design at the Mutherius Hochschule in Kiel and is now a Professor at the HFK University of Bremen. He has worked with many international companies including designing for the German Railway System, Brune, Infinity, Philippi, Motorola and Osram.
